I. RELEASE NOTES

A. Purpose of DRVSETUP
------------------------------------
Drvsetup was developed to install/re-install components designed specifically
to the 6620 Hand-Held Computer. If you run this program on any computer other
than the 6620 Hand-Held Computer you run the risk of corrupting the registry.

B. Drvsetup location and dependencies
-------------------------------------
Drvsetup and all of its components can be found on the 6620 Tool Kit in
the Image/Drvsetup folder. Drvsetup is no longer a stand alone program
and requires individual install programs to install conponents.

C. Split up of Drvsetup
-----------------------
DRVSETUP.EXE was split up into individual files controlled by a main DRVSETUP.EXE
and moved into a DRVSETUP directory. This will allow us to manage the smaller
installation programs better. DRVSETUP had grown to almost 9MB which prevented
us from loading individual components onto systems. Now DRVSETUP.EXE presents
the same menu as before but shells out to the individual files for the actual
installation. The stand-alone setup tools that DRVSETUP.EXE relys on are :

	APM.EXE : Advanced Power Management
	BATTMTR.EXE : Battery Meter Utility
CDPDDISK.EXE : Creates the Diskettes to install CDPD
	CDPDSUPP.EXE : Adds CDPD support
	DOCKLOCK.EXE : Dock Lock Utility
	ERICMWPC.EXE : Ericsson M2100 Wireless PC Card
	GENUTILS.EXE : General utilities
	GPS.EXE : GPS drivers
	ISCAN.EXE : 6620 Internal scanner driver
	MSIRDA.EXE : MS Windows 95 Infrared Support
	PCMCIA.EXE : PCMCIA Support
	PEN.EXE : PEN Drivers
	RAMSUPP.EXE : RAM Radio Support
	TDKMSUPP.EXE : TDK 2814C Modem Support
	TSCAN.EXE : Tethered Scanner

If you, for example, tried to run drvsetup and install the Tethered Scanner
and TSCAN.EXE was not in the same directory as drvsetup, you would receive
an error stating that TSCAN.EXE could not be located. TSCAN.EXE is itself
a stand alone installation program and therefore can be run directly to
install the tethered scanner.

D. What's New in 1.12a
-----------------------
	1) CDPD Radio Support Installation
	2) CDPD Radio Support Diskettes Creation

E. Bug Fixes in 1.12a

	1) Added ATACOPY.exe back to General Utilities
	2) Updated NPCCARD.VXD
	3) Removed VPCIC on installation of NPCCARD
	4) Updated Ram.vxd
	5) RAM.VxD installation installs the correct information in the registry

the user specify an actual address and port name for those odd
		configurations.
	6) Fixed Pen Driver Character Recognition for muli-stroke characters, (T,K,X,etc)
	7) GPS test application Jupiter95 installation is now correct.
